In his role as Vice President, Adam focuses on the day-to-day execution of Carter’s ongoing projects and leads the firm’s governmental affairs and public policy areas.

Adam joined Carter in 2016 and works across Carter’s development, asset management, and advisory portfolios. Adam works on all phases of Carter’s projects, from preliminary due diligence and government incentives, to contractor coordination and neighborhood relations. Adam is actively involved in all of Carter’s Atlanta projects—Summerhill, the MET, and At Promise Centers—as well as the planning and execution of Carter’s multifamily projects across the Southeast. He also contributes to Carter’s advisory portfolio, leveraging his experience at Deloitte to providing strategic consulting to Carter’s public and private clients.

Adam leads Carter’s governmental affairs and oversees all public policy areas. In this role, Adam works with public officials on priority topics such as workforce development, transportation, park improvements, public art, and At Promise Centers, where he serves as the development lead for Carter’s ongoing pro bono work. At Promise Centers—an Atlanta Police Foundation led public-private partnership—are state-of-the-art learning and community facilities throughout Atlanta with specialized services for youth and a gathering place for neighborhood residents.
