ABOUT THE PROJECT

Carter, in partnership with K. King & Co. and Healey Weatherholtz Properties, is redeveloping the area surrounding the former Turner Field site - Summerhill - an accessible, 83-acre mixed-use project in the heart of Atlanta with Georgia State University as the anchor. The team is developing 35 acres into a true mixed-use neighborhood that includes Publix (opening 2023), multiple multifamily and retail projects planned, for-sale townhomes, student housing, corporate office, freestanding Chase Bank, retail and chef-driven restaurants, and private student apartments. To date, there is over $1B in investment either constructed or planned in and immediately surrounding the development.
