Carter Completes Construction on Building 4 at Valencia Condominiums
Last week, after nine months of construction, Carter officially welcomed the first homeowners to move into Building 4 at Valencia in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Construction on the property began in January of this year.
Valencia was purchased by Carter in 2010 after having gone into financial distress in 2009. In early 2013, Carter began construction and released its pre-sales program for Building 4. Today, there are only 3 units remaining for purchase.
Todd Bradford, Carter director, commented, “While major construction activity wrapped up several weeks ago, the project team is now focused on putting the finishing touches on the building and individual units as we prepare for the buyers that will call Valencia home in the coming days. Currently, 39 of the 42 units are sold and to date we have 5 condos occupied with new residents.”
The property is located in the desirable Ponte Vedra Beach and Jacksonville Beach areas of Florida, just a few blocks from the beach and 14 miles from the Jacksonville CBD.
The building offers inviting two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,356- to 1,868-square-feet, with 10-foot ceilings, spacious walk-in closets, granite kitchen and bath counter tops, 42-inch upper cabinets and a gourmet eat-in kitchen with center island.

“The success Carter has experienced in marketing these condos in a difficult real estate market results from a combination of a quality product located in a desirable beach location offered at a very attractive price point,” said Todd.
“Our results could not have been achieved without the BOLD efforts of the sales and marketing team, construction firm and our investment partners who have supported our efforts in bringing our vision for the property to reality.”
