ATLANTA (Feb. 10, 2011) – Carter Senior Vice President Tom Wittenberg served as a panelist for Bisnow’s Health Care Real Estate Summit 2011. The summit took place Wednesday at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead.

With healthcare policy a hot topic in Washington, a lot of attention has been drawn to issues and trends in the healthcare real estate market.  During the panel discussion, Tom, a key member of Carter’s Healthcare Advisory Service Group, discussed Carter’s development of Piedmont West Medical Office Park, a 264,000-square-foot medical office building at I-75 and Howell Mill. He also talked about the impact healthcare consolidation will have on the commercial real estate market.

See below for Tom’s response when moderator Scott Shuman, a partner with Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, asked how Carter is responding to healthcare real estate consolidation.

Carter’s Piedmont West was one of the key sponsors of yesterday’s summit.
