Carter is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Delicata as senior analyst and Marisa Winsky as director of marketing. Additionally, the firm also promoted Laurie Israel from senior graphic designer to creative manager.
“Both Matt and Marisa have impeccable credentials and a commitment to our streamlined focus on investment, development and advisory services,” said Carter President Scott Taylor. “Our team at Carter is looking forward to the knowledge and fresh perspective they will contribute to the firm.”
Matt will serve as a senior analyst in Carter’s investment group. His responsibilities include providing detailed analysis related to the acquisition, disposition or development of Carter investments. He comes to Carter with several years of experience in the investment industry.
Previously, Matt spent three years with Triangle Equities, a real estate development firm based in New York City, where he focused on underwriting prospective investments, as well as the project management of assets already established within their portfolio. During his tenure with Triangle, Matt provided underwriting for over $500 million real estate transactions and was directly involved in the acquisition and management of non-performing loans and distressed assets.
Marisa will collaborate with Carter’s marketing department to put together best-in-class marketing materials for its key lines of business and specific development projects. She provides project management and art direction for advertising, branding, corporate communications, proposals and presentations, public relations and the development of both web and print marketing collateral.
Prior to joining Carter, Marisa spent the last two years at CBRE’s Atlanta office as a senior communication specialist, where she was primarily devoted to new business pursuits with a focus on content development, presentation preparation and RFP analysis. She also spent ten years as a marketing professional in Orlando, Florida, where she worked for both Jones Lang LaSalle and The Staubach Company.
Laurie, who has worked in Carter’s marketing department since 1996, has played a critical role as graphic designer in creating, maintaining and growing Carter’s brand. Israel has been involved in hundreds of business development efforts and has supported some of the firm’s most significant clients. Most recently, she was instrumental in Carter’s rebranding efforts and led the charge on several of the key elements of the launch.
“As creative manager, Laurie will have the opportunity to expand her roles and responsibilities, as well as develop her creative skills further with the new technological and innovative marketing efforts that Carter is utilizing.” said Carter’s Senior Vice President of Advisory Malloy Peterson. “She is a true team player.”
