Carter Promotes Three Associates

Promotions Strengthen Investments, Asset Management and Development Teams

We are pleased to announce the recent promotions of three Carter associates: Matt Delicata, Jason Neisler and David Nelson.

Matt Delicata joined Carter in 2012 as senior analyst, where he played a large role on numerous development and investment projects such as 315 W Ponce, Tetro Student Village and The Banks. He was promoted last month to director for Carter’s investment team. As director, his roles include identifying, underwriting and due diligence for prospective investments.

Jason Neisler has been with Carter since 2010, when he was brought on-board to manage the industrial component on behalf of Carter’s largest account. He is now responsible for the asset management of this account’s nationwide portfolio totaling over 3 million square feet of office space spanning 21 properties in 6 states across the United States.

“Jason has effectively managed our team of asset management professionals and does a great job of representing our client’s interests,” said Scott Stringer, executive vice president at Carter. “We are proud to have him on the Carter team.”

David Nelson joined Carter in 2008 and has worked with our development team in a number of roles, ranging from project manager, providing design and construction management for some of our on-campus student housing projects, to overseeing the equity development of new multi-family and student housing projects like Valencia Condominiums and Highland Square.

In his new role of senior vice president of development, David will lead Carter’s student housing business line, focusing on the equity development of off-campus student housing projects.

“David has been instrumental in the success of Carter’s student housing projects,” said Conor McNally, chief development officer at Carter. “He has emerged as a thought leader within the student housing sector, combining his technical expertise with strong business development skills for the leasing and marketing of our projects.”

Carter values each and every one of our associates and we are proud to be able to recognize them with these well-deserved promotions. Congratulations Matt, Jason and David!
