Carter’s Andy Feinour Discusses Student Housing on CRE Radio Show

Andy Feinour, a senior vice president with Carter, recently shared his insights into the student housing market on “America’s Commercial Real Estate Show,” a national radio show focusing on commercial real estate.

Feinour_Andy-2009-colorFeinour offers a look at the success of the occasionally overlooked student housing industry with radio talk show host Michael Bull. Feinour, who appears in the “Student Housing Market Update” episode, discusses the attractiveness of student housing – thanks to favorable demographics at colleges and universities and positive rent growth.

“The [student housing] markets that we’re looking at from a development perspective are doing very, very well,” Feinour added.

Feinour is joined by Jim Arbury, president of student housing for the National Multi- Housing Council and Dennis Gulseth, a project manager for the BOKA Powell design firm to examine other student housing topics such as amenities, financing, and student housing during a recession.
