Inside Carter | Meet Our Interns


Every month we’ll profile a different member of the Carter team, giving you a little glimpse inside the personalities that make our company so robust and unique. This month we are getting to know our summer interns: Grant Lippincott, Burgoyne Fite and Charles Haack. Grant Lippincott:

1. What University do you currently attend?
University of Florida. 

2. What are you studying?  What year are you? 
Rising Senior – Finance Major with a minor in Real Estate. 

3. If anything, what has been the most eye opening piece about your internship thus far at Carter?
The number of projects that are not pursued even after an extensive amount of research and planning. 

4. What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
Snow-skiing. 

5. What is one guilty hobby or habit you have that few people know about?
Playing Basketball.  I try to play pick-up games as often as possible. 


Burgoyne Fite:

1. What University do you currently attend?
Auburn University. 

2. What are you studying?  What year are you? 
Masters Student receiving her M.B.A with a concentration in Finance.  Graduating December, 2015. 

3. If anything, what has been the most eye opening piece about your internship thus far at Carter?
Attending the community meeting about the Turner Field redevelopment was very eye opening. I enjoyed seeing the various community member’s reactions and getting to experience a project from the early stages. 

4. What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
My favorite indoor activity would have to be cooking. I love to try and create new recipes! I enjoy many different outdoor activities, one of my favorites is snow skiing. 

5. What is one guilty hobby or habit you have that few people know about?
I love Chipotle.  


Charles Haack:

1. What University do you currently attend?
University of Georgia. 

2. What are you studying?  What year are you? 
Rising Senior – Real Estate Major. 

3. If anything, what has been the most eye opening piece about your internship thus far at Carter?
The most eye opening thing so far would be that there is so much more to real estate than I thought. How different areas of study like accounting, marketing, finance tie into the real estate shows me that I need to use all classes that I have taken to be successful, not just the specific real estate courses.  

4. What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
I enjoy playing golf. 

5. What is one guilty hobby or habit you have that few people know about?
I like to listen to talk radio in the car.
