Photo Gallery of Roy Richards Memorial Gymnasium Renovation at Berry College
Construction wrapped up last week for Carter’s renovation project at the beautiful Berry College in Rome, Georgia. The new and improved Roy Richards Memorial Gymnasium now provides office suites, a multi-purpose space for indoor team practice, a 3,000-square-foot football locker room with 110 new custom lockers, as well as full men’s and women’s locker rooms for lacrosse and tennis. The most impressive transformation of the project is the new weight training center, which was created by infilling the old, abandoned Olympic-sized pool.

He and the rest of the project team collaborated with Berry College Athletics for an interactive shoot to include football Coach Tony Kunczewski and a number of Berry athletes.
The goal for the photo shoot was to “connect ideas and people to the places where they work, relax, live and learn,” in keeping with Cooper Carry’s philosophy of connective architecture.

Good luck to the Vikings as they take on their very first football opponent, Maryville College, on September 7!
