Clayton State Student Housing

Morrow, GA

With increasing student enrollment and students’ heightened desire for a live-learn environment, Clayton State University recognized the growing importance of offering on-campus student housing. Carter was hired as program manager to manage construction of the student housing projects. Construction commenced on schedule on the new 451-bed, four-story flagship project and completed on-time and within budget. The project features four-bedroom, two-bath semi-suite apartments, fully furnished with common living room/lounge space and wireless internet access. Residents have on-site access to study lounges, a convenience store and a laundry facility. The project completed on-time and has significantly changed the culture of Clayton State University as it transitions to a more traditional four-year university model.
