Carter acquired an empty Class A suburban office building off Powers Ferry in Northwest submarket of Atlanta as part of the Carter Real Estate Fund 1 (CREF 1). Carter’s leasing team successfully landed anchor tenant, Superior Essex, whose corporate headquarters now occupy over half of the building. Carter’s Investment Group sold the asset in the spring of 2011; the building was over 80% leased at the time of the sale.
