Vice President of Asset Management
Position Overview:
Vice President of Asset Management will be responsible for managing a comprehensive range of asset management activities for a growing portfolio in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, including both new development/construction projects and the management of lease-ups and stabilized assets within the portfolio.
Reports To:
Chief Operating Officer. This role will also require collaboration with multiple departments, including Development, Construction, Accounting, Operations, Leasing & Marketing, and Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the construction, lease-up, compliance, and ongoing management of a designated property portfolio.
Lead portfolio modeling, valuation, summarizing analysis, and presenting findings to internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., executive leadership, investors).
Work closely with third-party property management teams to manage leasing and budgeting, ensuring timely reporting of key strategic changes or discrepancies.
Conduct investment analysis, including gathering data, determining achievable market rents, making model assumptions, and running various financial scenarios.
Manage hold/sell recommendations and support the refinancing or sale of properties.
Supervise annual property appraisals and provide reviews for assets within the portfolio.
Compile quarterly and annual reports on asset performance, portfolio health, and market conditions for investors, in collaboration with accounting and development teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Address special requests from investors and capital clients promptly and professionally.
Perform periodic property inspections and document results.
Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, tax returns, and annual audits for the portfolio's assets.
Foster and manage relationships with external entities and agencies associated with the assets.
Lead ongoing communication with partners through emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
Optimize real estate value through effective execution of business strategies.
Education & Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years in commercial real estate investment management.
A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills suitable for the role and responsibilities assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience and career progression in commercial real estate finance and/or investment analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
