ABOUT THE PROJECT

Carter worked with local residents and the City of Decatur to plan a development that melds seamlessly into downtown Decatur.

The project includes two five-story residential buildings with a structured parking deck and street-level retail space. The Place on Ponce targets a wide demographic by offering high-quality 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with a full line of amenities, including two outdoor courtyards and green space. It is located within two blocks of Decatur’s vibrant downtown square and MARTA train station.

This integrated mixed-use project expands upon an existing neighboring office building. The Place on Ponce includes 234 luxury apartments and 10,000 square feet of street-level retail on Ponce de Leon Avenue. The property also includes a 484-space parking deck, which is shared with the neighboring office building.
