Walter Huntley
SENIOR DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR
Walter serves as a senior advisor at Carter, specializing in acquisitions and complex public-private development projects. Walter has worked with the Carter team since 2013 and provides a unique, invaluable perspective on markets, sites, and opportunistic developments. He began his career as an advisor to Mayor Maynard Jackson, eventually becoming his Chief of Staff. Walter has also completed post-graduate work at MIT in the department of Urban Studies and Planning, and has led transformational projects in both the public and private sectors throughout his 50+ year career.
