ABOUT THE PROJECT

Tetro Student Village is a 198-unit, 590-bed development located less than half a mile from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). The development is also just a mile from several of San Antonio’s premiere retail areas and the UTSA Park West Athletics Complex. 

Carter designed and built the 16-acre community to include 121 flats and 77 townhomes around a central town center. The development features two-, three- and four-bedroom units, and townhomes with two-car garages. Amenities include a coffee shop, club room, fitness center, media room, resort-style pool, volleyball, basketball and bocce ball court, soccer field, grilling area, fire pit, study room, arcade, dog park and tanning room.

Tetro’s property marketing and leasing team utilized a truly unique and innovate approach, the Tetro Truck. Awarded Student Housing Business 2015 Innovator Award for Best Mobile Marketing Campaign at InterFace Conference, the Tetro Truck functioned as a mobile leasing center which offered tours and provided virtual and interactive leasing support. By the time the project was completed in 2014, the project was 80% leased. By year two, Tetro Student Village leased up to 100% three weeks prior to resident move-in.
